Our Yarn Barn & Gift Shop: FREE to browse and does not include a tour with the alpacas. Feel free to call or email us to schedule a shopping visit any day of the week but Saturday's.
FREE OPEN FARM DAY: Check back for next event 12pm - 4pm Visit alpacas for FREE and shop our Yarn Barn & Gift Shop. Join us for a mini-tour of alpacas offered at the top of each hour (12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm) or take a self guided tour. No Reservation needed.

BOOK YOUR OWN PRIVATE ALPACA FARM TOUR (Private group): 1 hour
Is a private tour for one-two carloads (up to 9) people from same group. This generally consists of a walk through our lane-way to visit the alpacas, allowing you and your friends/family time to get comfortable around them. During this time we educate you about these marvelous animals. Then, if we are all comfortable with you getting closer, you can come into their paddock to hang out with them a bit.
Each tour event is unique, as the alpacas and events going on around us, creates a dynamic organic experience together.
Selfies are welcome of course.
The tour ends in our farm store gift-shop, allowing you some time to see if you find any special alpaca souvenirs or gifts you want to take home. Many items are made from our alpacas, and made here, or by local fiber artist.
Cost is $30 for up to 4-5 people in one vehicle. We say 4-5 people as small children are welcome, and often one vehicle can seat up to 5 people safely. If 5-9 people arriving in your group, (2 vehicles) Cost is $60. Allow about 1 hour for this visit.
Fiber Art Tour Extension 15 min
This extension can be added to your tour. This is an additional 15 minutes of learning more about alpaca fiber, demonstrations on what we do with it to turn it into some of the lovely products we sell in our Farm Store. Some hands on for you to feel the alpaca difference, with safe COVID-19 guidelines in place, of course.
The Extension Costs $20. Allow up to 15 minutes for this tour.
FOR ALL TOURS:
- The tour cost is for up to 4-5 people, arriving in one vehicle. We ask you pre-pay for tour.
- Everyone on tour must wear Closed Toe shoes, such as sneakers.
- Bring bottled water to drink and dress in layers.
- It may be hot in the Valley, but cooler at our ranch. In Fall and Winter, we may have had rain, or may experience showers during your visit. Please plan accordingly. Bring a jacket if it is Fall/Winter.

Refunds:
We are happy to cancel, reschedule, or refund the cost of the tour if you give us 48 hour notice. If an emergency comes up, and you need to cancel within 48 hours, we may, at our discretion, refund your money.
If heavy rain or snow is forecast in Grass Valley the day and time of your tour, we will cancel and refund your tour fee. Please stay in touch with us regarding weather conditions if forecast indicates heavy rain or snow.
Shopping Only: Please schedule a time to visit our shop. Will not include tour and is free to browse. Feel free to call or email us to schedule a shopping visit any day of the week but Saturday's.
